Allectra is an international distributor of EVAC Vacuum standard & bespoke KF and ISO glass components.
These fittings can be used for vacuum applications (1 x 10-9 mbar) and at positive pressure (up to 2 bar). These glass elements meet the ever increasing demands for ultra-pure processes. Glass is highly resistant to water and most chemicals, and can be thoroughly cleaned.
EVAC Vacuum offers two materials:
- Duran® (borosilicate) glass, temperature range: -30°C to 450°C;
- Quartz glass, temperature range: -30°C to 1000°C.
These components include:
KF & ISO Tapered™ composite & stainless steel chain clamps, elastomer seals, glass blanking & tubulated flanges, elbows, tees, 4-way & 6-way crosses, straight connectors, adapters and jars.
Typical applications include:
Organic and Inorganic Chemical Experiments, Surface Chemistry & Catalysis, Novel Carbon Materials, Photovoltaic, Renewable Energy, Purification of Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) Materials, Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD), Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD), Semi-Conductor (Plasma Etching & Cleaning Processes), Optical (UV, IR & Laser) Measurements, Nano-Coating Technology, Inspection Glasses - Flow Rate Observation, High-Voltage & other types of Electrical Insulations, Medical & Pharmaceutical Applications.
